The Alluring Edifice: The Utopian Model

To begin with, I chose the title, “The Alluring Edifice” for my architectural drawing because it accurately describes my structure. The word alluring stands for an object, place or thing that is mysteriously attractive or fascinating. In addition to that, the word edifice describes a very large structure. My architectural drawing will be a structure that has never been created or seen before. It will be a beautiful structure that will work in conjunction with nature. Its design will not interrupt the wild life, rather it will welcome them to the land. We don’t want to destroy their homes nor their land, we want to make them feel safe with our new structures. The utopian model is known for providing citizens with the best form of living conditions. The creation of structures away from dangerous highways and bad air pollution caught my attention. Also, the creation of structures in conjunction with nature, space, safer areas and better air quality also caught my attention and inspired me to create The Alluring Edifice. This painting is a design of a new building that is built around nature to provide habitants with a much better quality of life; there will be less air pollution and people will be away from dangerous highways and crowded homes that have no privacy at all. The Alluring Edifice will be constructed around a large sum of land to give habitants privacy from their neighbors and to avoid destroying trees and plants because nature will be a part of the style/ appearance. Lastly, I connected my painting to the concept of the utopian model by applying sun/light and space to my art piece. I also created a new design of a building that people have never seen before because the utopian model is supposed to detach from the past and create a whole new
