The American Dream Definition
The American dream by definition means the idea that every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiative. However, it's more than just some definition. Everyone has their own view on what they consider is the “American dream”. Before I was born my mom and dad both came here looking for a better life than the one they had back in Russia. After my parents arrived my grandparents came soon after. From my understanding, my parents idea of the American dream was to able to nicely settle somewhere and have children, so that they could live the life they couldn’t when they were kids.
