A mission and vision are critical and standard elements of a company's organizational strategy which is intended for Leaders. They are the written from of organization’s purpose. They specify what the organization is, what value they have and the new direction of the organization. The Mission and Vision sometimes look synonymous and similar in what they mean, but to avoid the confusion; Mission statement specifies the primary purpose of the business. The view may differ from organization like some organization’s mission may be profit oriented while the other have a focus on customer satisfaction which eventually lead to profit making. Vision is the direction in which the organization want to move forward while sticking to some values like commitment to integrity, openness and transparency. A mission and vision are important as they help to build the strategic planning, provide inspiration to employee and make them align their goals towards the goals of the organization as the organizations with a shared goal are more successful than that of having deviated ones.
In the current case, we are talking about the Mission and Vision of “The Cheesecake Factory” which are as follows :

As the organization is spread across the globe in most of the recreational areas and business places like airports, it have a varied variety of customers, still the menu contains the items which satisfies the customers globally of different age groups and even different cultures. As the name of the organization looks something intimidating for the customers who follow the diet plans, but the menu contains the dishes like salads with adequate nutrition supplements that too with affordable
prices.
The restaurant should invest additional resources in hiring extra waiters. At no point should a customer enter a restaurant and end up staying for over twenty minutes before being served. Though it is almost impossible to achieve 100% perfection, customers should be served within ten minutes of sitting at a table. Instead of hiring full time waiters, the restaurant may hire well trained part time waiters to serve the growing number of its customers (Wilson, 2012). This will go a long way in improving the number of positive reviews it gets. The restaurant should implement this strategic move as soon as possible.
