Education cant be complete unless it leads ethical and moral development of people. Indian education system, in the race of Modernism, has forgotten its traditional value based pedagogy. The result is witnessed in rising cases of corruption, crimes and violence in present scenario.
Moreover, Education can be real if only it develops a child into a compassionate, virtuous and tolerant individual. Real education must include teachings of ancient texts like Gita and Kautilya’s Arthashastra. Such education can revive human values; as a result people would end up being greedy, violent and opportunistic. The philosophy such as “Vasudeva Kutumbakam”, if taught to every child, can solve the problems of deteriorating law and order, increased crime and many more.
