Sugary drinks or soft drinks are known as beverages which contains sugar and sweeteners. Mostly come in different brands and are sold worldwide. But there are major impacts of consuming sugary drinks. For this essay, I will discuss how and why it is important for the government to regulate and control the intake of sugary drinks. For my main points I will focus on the health issues, the financial costs and the content of sugar. My recommendations include imposing policies for importing of sugary drinks and creating awareness on the dangers of sugary drinks.
