The Drinking Song Analysis

Between these three interpretations of the "The Drinking Song", there were many differences in the overall theme, along with the attitude of the characters within the performance. Throughout all of the performances, the goal of the main male character did not change; he was constantly attempting to gain the interest of the main female character.

Though the attitude of the main male character did not change, it was seen that the attitude of the female character did. In the first piece, the female character seemed to have an interest in the male character from beginning to end. However, in the second and third piece, it was a different story. Because the second piece was performed publicly, the female characters were attracted to the male character,
