The Final Formula Essay
When the magic returned two years ago, there are two type of magic co-existed in the world. New magic which are those who can control magic element with their mind, and Old magic which are inherited by bloodline passed down generations. There is also a third-type of modern "magic", those who works with chemistry and philosophy, the Alchemist.

I thought The Final Formula was unique and different compare to other Urban Fantasy genre. This book has an unique take on magical creatures that aren't mainstream, while having a fresh take on some supernatural beings that were common among Urban Fantasy genre.

I just loved the characters in this book, first we have Addie, an intelligent and strong female Alchemist who has no memory before the bombing of

The story and the writing just flaws together so well. Very well developed characters, and an intriguing fantasy world that has a solid world building, which I can't get enough of. You want mystery there was mystery, you want action there were plenty of actions, you want romance there were some romances, but it never takeaway the focus of the story.

I do think the ending was a little predicable, I thought Addie was too engrossed in her own world and can be overzealous at time, especially when she finds familiar faces that would trigger her memories, in result she often overlook many obvious clues.

Some readers have issue with the age differences, but honestly age seem irrelevant when you are reading supernatural/fantasy books.

This was a well written, well pace book that has a plot full of twists and turns. The Final Formula was an unique, gripping Urban Fantasy book that I couldn't put it down once I start reading. If you are a fan of Urban Fantasy and am looking for something a bit different to read, you don't want to missed out on this book! (Kindle readers, this book is free on Amazon. Go read this

This story was very odd but was a good book. The fiction of this story is tied to reality in a very unique way, that is very effective in making the story not feel very fantasy. This feature made the book truly more enjoyable. Other writing techniques like not having any foreshadowing. The book keeps you guessing until the very end. Even within the story parts that I had never seen coming, Like releasing the prince. Allowing Alix to run away and eventually return on curiosity.…

I thought the writer had a really good flow of style and expressed herself really well, especially with the storyline. It was a great story overall, the writer was very graphic with her words and it kind of made me feel like I was there re-living that moment with her. Her style was cool and she built up the story with conflict. The suspense was awesome because she made it feel like it was going to be good from the start to the end, but then I felt the tension when things became dark and muggy. The argumentation was written well and the story ended on a good note. The writer wrote for her people and you could literally…

One thing James Dashner is good at is Storytelling. Making up this world and coming up with all the plot twists, he's a very talented writer. He tends to write creating suspense, making the next plot twist come at the right moment and right time, making you want to go on to the next chapter. James made it literally impossible for me to try and figure out what was going to happen. Like many of the characters in the book, I had no idea who I could trust or believe. Some of the plot twists and answers some things I questioned, but overall it was a fast-paced tale that easily drew me in, and it will draw you in too that’s why I recommend this book to everyone.…
