The Constitution includes the amendments. The first ten amendments are known as the Bill of Rights. The first amendment states that we have the freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. In other countries, people are being tortured and killed because of their religion. In America there isn’t too many people being killed just because they believe something different than other people. My family and I are very religious and if the first amendment didn’t say that the people have the freedom of religion than we could be thrown in prison or killed for our faith. …show more content…
When America was declaring independence the British were taking away everybody’s guns. People love their guns. I have a lot of family and friends that would just freak if someone tried to take away their guns. Thanks to the second amendment no one has to do any freaking out.
Another part of the Constitution that I think makes an impact on everybody, and most people don’t even realize it is the freedom of the press. If we didn’t have the freedom of the press we probably wouldn’t get as much information about the world as we do today. I like to know about what is going on about ISIS and other things that’s going on in the Middle East and I also like to keep up on other events happening in our own country.
It’s clear that the Constitution has a very big impact on my life and without the Constitution, my life could have been very different. Many people don’t even realize that the Constitution is what helped make it possible to do whatever it is they do in everyday
