First and foremost, Green Party works on an organized and fixed agenda. Unlike the Republicans and Democrats, the dominant parties of the American government, the Greens have a fixed ten key values, which includes detailed goals for various aspects in the society, such as social justice, equal opportunities, nonviolence, decentralization, feminism, etc. Moreover, the fact that the Republican and Democratic Parties have shifted their positions many times over the course of the history makes one question their abilities to carry out their goals, and their consistency towards national issues. That given, as a voter, I need a party whom I could rely on and who is trustworthy and keep prestigious of their words. Therefore, if the one who represents me and my beliefs is not consistent about what he’s doing, he is definitely not going to have my consideration.

U.S., I have the opportunity to compare the difference between the two governments of the two countries, my homeland and this new country. In fact, I believe the achievement that the U.S. has today in the international range is gained through the regulations that its government proposes to ensure a society with equal opportunities, and its government’s effort to minimize the gap between every citizen’s living standard. In fact, I see this best in the Green Party’s policies. Among all the guest speakers, only the Greens mentioned their concern about taking care of and providing necessities to homeless people and illegal immigrants. This is the U.S. we’re heading here for, the U.S. with opportunities not restrictions, the U.S with equality not discrimination. And that’s the reason for my support to this party.
For many decades, the Democratic and Republican parties have dominated the American government.
The division in the houses hinders many opportunities for necessary laws to pass because of the existence of partisans. This year, in the intensity of the presidential election of 2016, both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the most likely to-be-nominees of these two major parties, have many flaws, Hillary with her mailing scandal and Trump with his racism, receive many oppositions from the citizens, and rather be chosen as presidential candidates because they are more likely to win, not because of their true ability or persuasive proposed policies. For all those reasons, I believe it’s time for changes, it’s time to accept a third party to involve to the direct creation of regulations, it’s time to honor the philosophy of the Green Party and make their influence official to the U.S. government system, it’s time to let the voters’ voice be heard
again.
