One reason Stephen Curry should win the Good Samaritan Sports Award is that he has been on fire the last few years. Last season he scored an average of 30.1 points per game, which was the best in the league. Even while scoring that much, he still moved the ball around well, averaging 6.7 assists per game. Zach only had an average of 15.3 Points per game in the 2015-16 season, and he notched only 2.1 assists per game. That does not even compare to Stephen’s 30.1 ppg and 6.7 apg. Zach’s supporters say, though, that he should win because he is always helping people out, and one year, he saved a trapped dog and donated 10,000 dollars to help dogs like the one he saved to get rehab. That is great that he did that, but it does not have a long-term effect, and it is dogs that he is helping, not other human beings. That is why I believe Stephen Curry deserves the award more
I strongly believe the Good Samaritan Sports Award should go to the one player performs at the highest caliber while playing his sport, but also goes out of their way to help people and help the world be a better place.
