The Ravine Ending: He had never seen anything so beautiful in his life. Vinny took a deep breath. He closed his eyes, leaned forward, and jumped. He smacked the coffee tinted water. Vinny had done it! He looked around to see where his friends had went. Vinny swam under the water looking for them. Then he found a cave behind the ravine waterfall. He went inside to check it out. Vinny took baby steps. He was scared. A chill went down his back. On Vinny’s 11th baby step, he stepped on something muggy and sticky. He looked down and saw...the dead boy. He ran outside of the cave and ran to the police department. When he arrived he took the police to the mysterious ravine. He told them that his friends went missing. Vinny ran home as fast as he could. He asked himself why did he come out but not anyone else. When Vinny arrived at his house, his mom asked where he had gone. He lied and said that him and his friends went to the beach. He went to his room and lied down. He promised himself that he would not tell anyone about what had happened.

I am coming for afternoon story time!” yelled Sky. “I am ready, please start!” “Alright and Happy early Birthday Darling!” said Granny softly. “ Once upon a time eleven years ago today a baby was born. until now… It was 4:30 am when I heard the gunshot. I jumped out of bed ran to my parents room, but of course they were heavy sleepers so they did not hear it. I went back to my room and sat on my bed, wondering about where that sound came from. I looked outside of my window and saw the island. It was on fire. I saw dead people on the island. I could tell who they were, hunters. Then I saw him for the first time ever. I saw the dark ARMY green fur, the wispy glossy eyes, and the big scruffy enormous belly. A chill went down my back. He looked at me. I froze. I could tell what had happened. He stared at me and then he jumped in the water with a big splash. He stood there, watching his home go down in flames. I watched and I still couldn’t move. It was like my body had shut down. The monster started to grab handfuls of water and splashed it on his island. He tried and tried and tried to save it. Then 10 minutes later his home was wet but was not on fire. My body started back up again and then I went outside swan to his island. I helped him get rid of the bodies, splash his island, and help his animal friends. I could tell that he was disappointed that he killed those hunters but, he wanted to live. To me they deserved to

It all started one early morning when I went to visit my best friend Agnes. As I was walking to his house I could sense something bad was about to happen. The streets were very quiet and nobody seemed to be outside. I knocked on the door and waited, and then Agnes opened the door. He said “Ariel what are you doing here? You must leave, you’re in great danger.” I asked him why but he told me to go to my house and stay there. Later he would come over to make sure I was alright and to explain things. It was still in its nondestroyed state. I was with my friends from night one plus my friend's mother that I mentioned earlier as well, and my own parents. I walked into the building and I saw that room with a locked door that has the light on at all times. I was told to never go inside of that room. They told me that it was not for me to go into. I was going on vacation to this house for some reason so I had to unpack my bag in a bedroom. The house was very old so I ignored any movement that I heard I put my things on the bed and I was very cold. My mom called out for me to go to the main room. I went out there and noticed that people were crucified, hanged, torn in half, and burned. The door with a mysterious light was open and the girl was standing in front of it. I was afraid not because of the bodies but because the door was open. The girl motioned for me to come to her and I was unable to resist walking to her. As I got closer she looked more disfigured and evil. Her eyes were the biggest part that I remember. They were black with light pupils. She had claws like in my earlier dreams and she had a scream that paralyzed me. She ran at me and right as she was about to hit me I saw every event that I have that I have done to help or hinder people in real life. This felt like it went on forever and then I woke up screaming and in a cold sweat. My mother was trying to wake me up for ten minutes because of my screams. I knew that something was wrong at this…

Blood flowing out of my skull and hands. I can feel my whole head throbbing. The surges of pain continue over and over. I decide to pull strength from within to get up to check out the quad. I soon realize that the crack I heard was the snapping of the axle rod forcing the tire to be bent and rendering the quad un-drivable. Leaving the quad behind, I decided to walk back to camp. Of course I forgot my phone back at camp not planning that I would be taking a mouthful of dirt. As I walk I notice a white figure out of the corner of my eye. Since I was hurt and not sensible, my first thought was that this figure is a flesh seeking monster ready to gobble up my entire body whole. Given the fact that I actually believed that, I began to quicken my pace from a walk to a jog to a sprint. Just as I was ready to fall over and die of exhaustion, I notice an orange glow near me. This time it wasn’t a monster it was light coming from my camp’s fire. After my lengthy journey, I reached my dad and he rushed over to me baffled by my injury. With tears in my eyes, I sat down and began to regurgitate the whole experience. That night as I drift off into the abyss that was my dreams, I settled on the fact that the white figure was only the tail of a squirrel. I guess I deserved that fright given the fact that I did invade his…
