Nuremberg Trials was a series of 13 trails placed in Nuremberg, Germany (¨Nuremberg Trials¨ 1).
They choose to place the trails here because the Palace of Justice was undamaged from the war that also held a large prison(¨Nuremberg Trials¨ 1).

The first trial was called The Major War Criminals´.
Their were 24 individuals and six Nazi organizations being prosecuted (¨Nuremberg Trials¨ 2).
One man was deemed medically unstable to be present in court and three others killed themselves before trial (¨Nuremberg Trials¨ 2).
The suicides included Adolf Hitler, and his two assistance, Heinrich Himmler and Joseph Goebbels (¨Nuremberg Trials¨ 2).
The result of these trials ended in every defendant being guilty except for three men. 12 were sentenced to death and the rest had to live their lives in prison serving 10 years to the rest of their lives (¨Nuremberg Trials¨ 2).
The next group of trials was called the Subsequent Trials.
This included the Doctors Trials were they found 23 person's being charged with crimes against humanity (¨Nuremberg Trials¨ 3).
The Judge Trial stated that 16 lawyers and judges put the Natzi plan into motion and approving it (¨Nuremberg Trials¨ 3).

Eventually, the powers became unequal and it seemed America and Russia were gaining most of the benefits to this treaty (¨Potsdam Conference¨ 2).
Japan's punishment decided during the Treaty.
MacArthur ( Supreme Commander of Allied Powers) held all the final decisions with what was happening in Japan (¨Occupation and Reconstruction¨ 1).
He began his work in phases. The first phase changed Japan the most by altering their Government and Society (¨Occupation and Reconstruction¨ 2).
He disarmed their armies, and banned all former Japanese officer to come be in the government or be a political leader (¨Occupation and Reconstruction¨ 2).
He started changing economics by trying to benefit the tenant farmers and decrease the power of the upper class landowners (¨Occupation and Reconstruction¨ 2).
He destroyed all large business trying to make the country a capitalist system (¨Occupation and Reconstruction¨ 2).
They were gifted with a new constitution that included decreasing the emperor's status, greater rights and privileges for women, and taking away their right to wage war (¨Occupation and Reconstruction¨ 2).
His next phases is often referred to as the reverse
