Thank you for sharing your personal experience. I agree, there is a lot of effort, time and money that goes in to producing a physician or any health care worker. I am a respiratory therapist, and to be where I am today, required a lot of effort. Most in health care choose to be there to help others, but they need to be paid to meet their needs for survival. Not only the pay of employees, hospitals have many other expenses such as maintenance of the building and keeping up with advanced equipment and therapies. Financing is an essential part of operation a health care organization and qualified personnel are needed to plan and balance the budget.
