The Importance Of Volunteering Mrs. Burcham

I volunteered at Stephens School here in town. I chose this place because I love kids and I was willing to sacrifice some time to help my community and others. I had a lot of fun working with my friend Ana. My experience in helping Mrs. Burcham was very fun. I completed twenty hours. I really enjoyed helping her in cutting laminated papers, which taught me some patients, because we cut a lot of them. The most challenging part was being able to keep up with all the assignments that she would give us. When we did not have enough time to finish our work in Mrs. Burcham’s classroom, then she would give us papers to take home because there was so many. It usually took me around four to five hours to finish cutting all the papers she wanted us to cut for her. When she would give us homework for the day I would try my best to finish it, and turn it in as soon as possible. She
Many activities that my friend and I did in her class were very helpful to her that way she didn’t have to stress about finishing it late at night after a long day of teaching the children, because they can be a handful. I really enjoyed being with Mrs. Burch am, because she was always willing to help us help her. I would love to volunteer for her again, because it makes me happy and I know that I’m doing something for the community and helping her out while having fun at the same time. I really like the fact that she was very specific with what she wanted and knew what was best for her students, which also taught me that sometimes being straight-forward will get me where I want. Also to not take things as a joke because if you are always joking around then no one will take you seriously, and you might not succeed in life.
