If voting were made mandatory, America can represent its citizens more accurately. They can know what the American want, when they decide which candidate they think will be beat suited to be president. Each presidential candidate pick a problem that he/she wants to solve the most. If all Americans voted, then they would know which problem they think should be solved first. Now since the majority of people that vote are the wealthy, the election represents them. Which is why everyone should vote, so that the election system represents everyone. Not just a certain group of Americans.
If everyone voted then, many things could improve. They would improve because the government would try to fix what the citizens think are a problem. For example, if everyone voted then there would be more generous public benefits. It was researched that non-voter like big government programs. Well they should vote for a candidate that is offering that. That way Citizens would get more involved. They shouldn't decide not vote, just because they don't like a candidate. If they don't like that one then they should vote for one they do, or at least agrees more
