Amanda is stressed out because of school and she can't wait for summer. In summer she gets to relax for months, hang out with her friends at her aunt's pool, and go to Maine to see her grandparents. Unfortunately, her school is becoming a year round school. She now will see her grandparents less and lose the time to hang out with her friends. She disdains year round school. There shouldn't be year round school because Summer break is an iconic part of America, kids deserve a long break and it would be hard to set up activities if kids are off so often.
