The Kite Runner: Comparing The Book And Film

The book the kite runner is a story of betrayal and redemption. This story is both a book and a movie if I had to rate the book it would be 5 out of 5 stars because it tell you the whole story and gives a lot of details. If I had to rate the movie, it would be 2 out of 5 stars because it followed the story in the beginning but left out the most important parts. I wish the movie should have had the attempted suicide scene, which I feel was one of the most important parts because it shows how bad things were for Sohrab to the point he wanted to die. I feel like the book was way better than the movie because the book has more details and more emotion. One of the most important parts of the book was when Sohrab tried to commit suicide and
the worst part if amir found him in the bathtub. Amir felt sad when Sohrab was stable and told amir that he wished he would have just left him in the tub. This was a very sad part of the book but it was important for you to understand how rough life was for Sohrab. I didn’t like how the movie left out a lot of detail and important scenes. When Amir saw Sohrab it made him feel even worse about Hassan and everything he could have done if he knew Hassan was his half brother. Amir would have probably have asked for Hassan to come to america with them when Baba and him moved to america. Amir was probably thinking about what life would have happened if they all moved to america.
