The movie starts out with Hannah being much older driving a car and in the book she is much younger, probably about 13 or 14 and definitely not driving. The movie does not introduce a sibling,Hannah's brother Aaron who was the one who hid the afikoman for everybody to find in the book and Hannah mentions him throughout he book seeing someone I think a guard , that reminded her of someone that she couldn't remember that had blue eyes that she remembered loving very much. Her grandpa talks about the devil's arithmetic at the beginning of the movie and in the book it is not mentioned until close to the end of the book. They do not mention or refer to Hannah as chaya in any of the movie at all. When the guys try to escape from the camp in the movie none of them get away they are hanged and in the book the butcher gets away and at the end of the book is when it happens not like in the movie where it was towards the beginning. And in the book when they killed shmuel and the others the where shoot at not hanged. And in the book Fayge dies with her husband running in front of him when he gets shoot saying that our wedding blanket will be in the sky and they both die together. There are many differences and similarities between the book and movie. The Lightning Thief is both an astounding book and movie. One of my favorite things that was in the book that wasn’t in the movie, which disappointed me, is Grover being dragged away towards Tartarus. Now, I did enjoy the fact they put in the Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee to add more action and adventure to the movie, though it wasn’t in the book. I am glad that Luke stayed the lightning thief or else the movie and book would have been nothing alike in my…

The outsiders movie and novel have many differences and similarities. I have only written about two of each but it is always fun to go back and look for more There is a hug variation between the two, the tiny details were precisely the same. The Outsiders is about a group of kids that are all different some are greasers, which have the leather jackets and the slicked back hair, and there are the Socs, they are the rich kids of town and are more dressed up then the greasers are. One way that the book is different from the movie is that the movie didn't say anything about Sodapop, the main character's older brother, wanting to get married to a girl when she is out of school and in the book there is a few pages about how much Soda loves…

One major contrast is Sonny and his father's relationship as it coincides with the coal mines. The book goes more into detail about the character's emotions, dreams, and goals, than does the movie. For example, the book's in depth perception of Sonny's dream to work at Cape Canaveral. His dream is realized when he is offered a job as a coal mining engineer. However, in the movie, Sonny's dream is crushed when he is basically forced to work in the coal mines.…

The Outsiders, directed by Francis Ford Coppola was released in 1983. Ponyboy Curtis (C. Thomas Howell) is a greaser whose parents were killed in a car accident. He and his friends: Johnny (Ralph Macchio), Dally (Matt Dillon), Two-Bit (Emilio Estevez), and Steve (Tom Cruise), and brothers, Darry (Patrick Swayze) and Soda (Rob Lowe), are always getting in fights with a gang called the Socs. One night, best friend Johnny, are attacked by Socs. The Socs almost drown Ponyboy, and Johnny, defending Ponyboy, stabs Bob (a Soc). Pony, and Johnny find a church to hide out in. A bunch of little kids are trapped inside the church which caught on fire, and Pony, Johnny, and Dally save them. Ponyboy gets out ok, Dally burns his arm, but a huge piece of wood falls on Johnny, breaking his back, and burning him badly. At the end, two of the greasers end up losing their life and both gangs still fight and hate each other. I think that The Outsiders was decent, at best. Please spare yourself save the hour and…
