The Lord of the Flies is a novel and Lost is a tv series there's some differences but they both have the same concept like the beast is in the jungle are in both topics and the murders and death are the same and they're stranded in a magical island so both of them are about almost the same. First degree murder involves hatred and planning. (Doc A) Second degree murder has intent, but lacks hatred and planning. (Doc A) Mars’s death was 2nd degree murder and Piggy’s death was 2nd degree, but Simon’s an accident.
Why Mar’s death was second degree murder? Because there was no planning it wasn't some had hatred on him some didn't and it couldn't be by intent because he wanted to Sawyer shot him but missed and he was still alive, but Jack went in there and he was suffocating so Jack killed him so that he would not have to suffocate.
Was piggy murdered or was it an accident?It was murder why?Because there was
rocks being thrown at and he took two hits then started to get dizzy and fell 40 feet down the cliff so was piggy murdered?Yes he was it was not an accident they don't know who was throwing it.And why it was 2nd degree murder because in the document it said they didn't know where the rocks were coming from. Was it a murder that happened to simon?It was an accident why because it was dark it was raining everything was scary they thought that everything was a beast so it wasn't a murder at all because they were trying to secure themselves they were scared they didn't want to die they wanted to live so anything that came upon them was a beast so they had self defense and especially when someone is just creeping up on them who ever is there should say something before they just walk in like that because the place they were at was scary.
So if they had to tell who was guilty or who's not it would go like this. Sawyer tried to kill Mars but he missed so that would be 2nd degree murder because it was intended to do and jack finished it of so Sawyer would be the guilty one because his intention was to killing him and Jack didn't want to see him suffer so he did what he had to do. So whoever tried killing piggy is guilty it was intention of murder so they are guilty.And Simon’s death was an accident because they were having self defense and they didn't know who was
