The Most Important Qualities of a Good Teacher
A teacher is an individual who plays the most vital role in the development of any being. The future of any student depends on the qualities and dedication of a teacher. It is the teacher who creates an interest in students to develop and progress and achieve what ever aims they set for themselves. A good teacher requires skills of Leadership, organization and communication.
Firstly, either from a natural ability or through a process of learning, good teachers will have leadership qualities and skills. They will use this attribute to encourage students to follow the path of learning that has been set for them, and to generate a real interest in the subject. Therefore, instead of viewing the topic as simply a part of the daily timetable, students will look forwards to the experience. This has to be obvious in the way that the teacher has prepared for the lesson they are giving and, in addition, the structure of the lesson, providing a natural flow for developing the subject being taught. Similarly, if equipment needs to be used or special arrangements made during the lesson, a good organizer will have prepared this in advance. Students will react to the level of organizational capability displayed by the teacher. For example, they are less likely to take a topic seriously if the teacher has to spend part of his or her time lesson trying to work out what they want to do or say next. Displaying this level of disorganization will lead to students becoming distracted and not

Outstanding teachers are patient, compassionate, and understanding. Teachers need to be patient to deal with students asking the same questions over and over again or students who are too hyper for the classroom space. If a teacher has no patience they will most likely have high stress levels or possible heart attacks. Teachers also need to be compassionate in order to make students feel comfortable in the classroom. By definition, a teacher is someone who provides educational instruction and communicates lifelong lessons. To me, teachers are much more than that. Teachers can touch base on topics you normally wouldn’t find in a text book. The purpose of education is not to fill the minds of children with facts, but to teach them how to think for themselves. Teachers can inspire children to be proud of who they are and help them overcome their adversities. I have chosen to go into this field because I want to help get children ready for an important part of their lives. Watching my son grow and having the privilege of being able to see how his young mind is starting to put pieces together has made me want to be a part of that for all young…

Organization is an important survival skill because without it, our lives and work would be total chaos. In my opinion, all teachers must be organized in order to be productive in the classroom. This means keeping an organized binder of lesson plans and activities, establishing procedures to be used everyday, and planning or preparing for the next lesson ahead of time. I feel that better organization skills would result in more time for instruction, less confusion, and less frustration for students and teachers. It would also set an example for the students to follow, which would benefit them throughout their lives. This will hopefully lead to better behavior in the classroom, which will be further elaborated on in the following paragraph.…

It is not a secret that teaching has a great role in our life, it is everywhere. In our constantly changing world we have to get knowledge from everything: e.g. from people and things surrounding us, from different technologies, from our experience. But nothing of these can take the place of a teacher, who plays a great role in life of every person. During rather long period of time a teacher is an integral part of children’s life. A teacher does not only impart the knowledge of the world, prepares children for everyday life but also influences their souls, teaches them to be honest, to be patient, to help each other, to respect each other; the teacher helps children to develop their true selves. He can change a young person's life by helping them to realize their potential, helping them to grow, helping them to find their talents, skills and abilities. But who is a teacher? According to The Free Dictionary a teacher is one who teaches, especially one hired to teach; a person whose occupation is teaching others, esp. children. But in the broadest sense, a teacher can be defined as someone who not only teaches or imparts knowledge, but also most importantly, someone responsible for shaping and molding the minds and hearts of all those whom they teach.…
