Ray rice ruthlessly knocked out his wife and it was caught on tape.He needs to take personal accountability for his actions and the NFL needs to send a strong message in order to prevent any future issues. Then people with terrible crimes on their record would not try out knowing they would end up like Ray Rice. This would be the perfect step for the NFL to take a stance on domestic abuse. No grown man should ever strike a woman. Last of all, all jobs require honest employees.This is the only way for a business to operate.Recidivism rates are high, so it should be up to the employer to decide whether if they should give an employee with a criminal record a chance.I cannot think of a business that is untouched from damage due to theft of dishonesty.The customers of a business need to feel that they can trust the person representing the company.Felons in these positions could annihilate a company that depends upon its reputation.Rehabilitation due to untrustworthiness should not be put upon independent businesses trying to survive. In conclusion employers should be able to hire/fire someone based off their criminal record.when you are applying for a job they are judging you based off your past.whether or not you graduated high school or college, the scores you got, and overall GPA.If they can do that, it would be justifiable to allow them to be based off of criminal records.In my opinion, the National Football League should have the right to ban players from the league for past crimes because sometimes people do not learn from their mistakes, Ray Rice, and all jobs require honest employees.Doing this allows any employer to protect their employees from who they think is questionably harmful to the environment.
