I think we can all agree that our views on immigration are heavily based off of the views of different political parties. I think this isn’t ideal because it forms very biased opinions. For example, the redneck who believes that all illegal immigrants are criminals, and the liberal who believes that all illegal immigrants are innocent. I learned so many new factual (which is important to note), real life situations that the good illegal immigrants have to face. These illegal immigrants who come to America, leave their own families for years at a time just so their kids, and wives can survive (Germano, 2009). Jobs are scarce in Mexico, so they sometimes don’t have any other choice but to come to America (Germano, 2009). The road to America isn’t easy either. Immigrants have to spend two to three grand to drug cartels just to get smuggled into America, and most have to travel through a desert for days just to get to where they need to be (Germano, 2009).
