7. Robert Frost’s poem, “Nothing Gold Can Stay” I think it’s saying that everyone does something bad. It might not be as bad as killing someone, but everyone sins and everyone does something they aren’t supposed to do sooner or later.

9. Hero
Ponyboy sacrificed himself to save the kids from getting burnt in the church.
Johnny also sacrificed himself to save the kids and being killed. Plus, he was positive throughout the story and a good role model most of the time for Pony.
Dally can be considered a hero, but can also be considered not because he killed three people.
10. Family
It is very debatable, but I personally do think they could be considered family. It is not just because of the blood. It is also because they support each other and are with each other all the time. Some of these boys spend more time with each other then their own parents.
11. Violence
To me, violence is never ok, but this can be debatable also. Some people think that violence can be used for certain things, such as self defence, but I personally have to say I don't believe in violence between people. Obviously, there was a lot of violence in this story. Such as, switchblades, guns and abusive
