The decision can be made by one or two board members, which is a panel that joins with a board member and staff. However, the parole will notify the correctional facility if the offender is approved or deny parole within 30 days. If denied the offender is
informed of the next hearing date (Bohm & Haley, 2011).
Therefore, when granted parole the parolee must report to his probation officer according to the time and date that was set. He must comply with all court order, the board of parole or probation officer and payment of fines. The parolee must attain permission before relocating to another resident, employment or travel out of his state. If he is arrested, the parolee must notify his parole office immediately (Bohm & Haley, 2011).
