Millions of African Americans have suffered from murder and intimidation to death for their participation in voting and access to formal education, and over the years. But the activist, Rose Parks, stood out in her defense against racism Ms. Parks was the spark of a 381-day struggle to defend her rights and the rights of all blacks. This happened when she once refused to leave her seat on the bus for a "white" man who was in violation of the law. She was punished and fined for doing so.
