The Pros And Cons Of The Zombie Apocalypse
The Zombie apocalypse has proved to be catastrophic. Land has been destroyed, nuclear weapons have been used and governments have been dismantled. Zombies have evolved greatly since the start and have become self-aware. Unaffected humans are terrified of the unknown. Only five countries exist, China, North Korea, the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and Canada. There has been much political strife between these countries in the past but now is not the time to let differences get in the way. The one characteristic we all share is zombies. We need to work together to ensure the greater good of our people, zombie or not.
When we are in an international crisis, we need an international cooperation and response from the global communities that are still functioning

For example, countries that do not want to work together will be forced to work together for the sake of their own people. This can lead to governments lying about their game plan, however if they do, the consequences will be devastating since they will essentially be acting alone. I do not foresee any sort of military intervention in the process of creating the IRZ, however there will be military intervention in “rallying up” the zombies and separating them into aware and ignorant categories. A governments goal is to protect their citizens and retain their cultural norms. In life or death situations, governments will be willing to put aside their differences for the greater good of their citizens. Free riding can also become a problem; however, it is highly unlikely since each country will be independently regulated by the IRZ. Countries will be less likely to defect since they are all interdependent of each other (Drezner, 51-54). With all countries cooperating, we have a better chance of creating a zombie vaccination and cure. Higher education systems will still be operating with select focuses of study. This will obviously benefit every undead and dead person on

George R. R. Martin’s short story about zombies does not focus on the zombie apocalypse as so many stories and movies do in today’s popular zombie culture. In what can only be assumed to be a far distant future, Martin’s zombies are surgically altered humans whose brains have been replaced by a synthetic alternative. This turns these formerly alive humans into form of cheap, or slave, labor that is exploited on planets where most humans are either unwilling, or unable to work (Martin, 2008). Martin’s zombies in this story harken back to the origins of the modern zombie mythos. Those being derived from the African slaves who toiled on the sugar plantations of Hatti (Estes, 2012). I do not think it is any coincidence that Martin’s zombies are…

In conclusion, a zombie attack is highly unlikely to occur given all the factors stated above are considered with the additional inclusion of the military. Disease control procedures are a common practice in the modern world, and developed nations are ready to deal with any plague that can face them. This means zombies cannot overrun the world given the numbers, strategy, and technology available at the moment. Baldwin lacks a central claim in the book and only jumps from topic to topic to keep the reader interested but does not pay attention to most of the facts available to the…

Humans can try to prepare and prevent zombies from attacking, biting, and killing them, but it’s survivors personal fear that will ultimately put their life in the greatest danger. Fear can be controlled (just like zombies) if you recognize the signs and symptoms, you just have to educate yourself. Jurgen Warmbrunn, with help from Paul Knight, wrote a report that included critical information that says to kill a zombie, you must aim for the brain and not the heart (Brooks, 35). Jurgen and Paul noted the signs and recognized the symptoms and all that was left was for people to read the reports. If more people would have read the report, it could have saved millions of lives. Jurgen even said “if more people had read our report and worked to makes it recommendations a reality, then that plan would have never needed to exist”(Brooks, 36).…

When zombies took over Great Britain in the film 28 Weeks Later, individuals, the military, and NATO were forced to make quick decisions to avert crisis. Some of the decisions aligned with how scholar Daniel Drezner would have predicted people to react to a zombie outbreak in his book Theories of International Politics and Zombies. The humans responded to the zombie outbreak with a mixture of realist and neoconservative elements. At times, the humans attempted to incorporate liberalism into their strategy, but the ideology failed due to organizational problems and inadequate bureaucratic politics. One of these organizational failures was a dismissive attitude towards women who provided outbreak response suggestions.…

Realists belief that there is no world government only adopted self help measures on a world spectrum, and the primary actors in the world are the people that can guarantee their own existence. All actors are ultimately looking out for their self and will not aid other national actors if it comes down to protecting themselves or others. In essence human’s inability to cooperate throughout history on an international rationale has been futile and failure of cooperation with the living dead will follow in the same manner. Realists believe that the strong will do what they need to, to survive at the sacrifice of the weak. If the world did band together and create an Anti- Zombie Alliance, all realists would be skeptic to join and take caution or are against sponsoring any money in the war against zombies.…

The topic that I would like to address for my zombie project is a more efficient mode of transportation in order to survive a zombie apocalypse. In The Zombie Survival Guide, Max Brooks he explains different means of transportation but limits them to water or air travel. In an apocalypse, healthy surviving humans should not be restricted to their means of travel. In order to stay alive, an adequate form of transportation is a necessity. Walking is too dangerous and slow, while a standard car purposes many different problems. A solar powered or a hydrogen fuel cell car are optimum modes of transportation during a zombie apocalypse.…

In scenario 5, it has become apparent that we won’t be able to survive on our own. We need to find other that are able to help out. By looking at where the populations are, we will be able to look at the average food consumptions of humans. For example, the amount of kilojoules an average male/female needs to eat and drink. We need to look at the populations remaining in each area, what sex the remaining population is, how many are children and the average age. In this scenario, we need to explain how three areas are going, and whether or not towns should work together. Additionally, in this scenario we have been provided with an update stating that all zombie populations increase by double. Therefore, bringing 80% of the population in towns are zombies, and 40% in the city. Furthermore, all zombie populations continue to move and join up. For example, zombie groups from Moonta and…

Zombies are less human, as they walk the streets, travel in packs, and they do not have a voice to inform us why they are attacking or their desire to kill. Frankenstein seems to have true feelings and we have a likeness to him, whereas he has soulful desires of love and hate. Zombies today are a bore, the only way of survival is for them to attack humans for survival, not understanding the reason why they have to. When I read stories or watch shows and movies about zombies, I am not amused on how they are created. It’s either by just showing up, stemming from aliens, or attacking a human in which that human becomes a zombie themselves, which is not…

If the zombies are slow, it would be high – running ones can outpace any human being. Given that they are impervious to pain, fear, and other human emotions, they would charge through police and military barricades without thinking of the consequences. Although biting is a horrible way of spreading a disease, it could infect thousands of people in a single day if the carriers do so quickly. Don’t worry though, modern science and biology (and common sense) says that zombie apocalypses are bound to fail, and quickly at that.…

The day starts like every other day does. The sun shining, birds chirping, but something will not feel right. People start to limp instead of walk, they are no longer talking, just moaning and groaning, and everyone reeks of rotting flesh and meat. The only problem with zombies is they are not who they once were; they are now creatures who walk around trying to eat anything living. Plenty of movies are created on the idea that everyone either gets their brains eaten or turned into zombies. Yes, most people think that a zombie apocalypse may not ever happen, but there is still a chance an apocalypse can happen. Just because people die in the movies does not mean people cannot survive in real life. Knowing the zombie apocalypse may happen one day, the three most important rules to remember are being prepared, maintaining protection, and staying aware.…
