The satire in the SNL commercial points out the racist points of the Pepsi AD by talking about the racial stereotypes of the asian man playing chello and the african american men dancing to hip hop. It makes an even further joke about it, having the director being scolded for using those stereotypes. It then countinues to poke more
fun by having an african american women point out how if it was a "tribute" to black lives matter, as said in the SNL commercial, not to show the police and to not even make that statement since the director was a white man. The Black Lives Matter is a political group that protests againt police brutality against african americans. Its considered a very serious and even dangerous social group, as the protest can get very violent, unlike the protrayal of it in both the Pepsi and SNL commercials. It makes the point that the Pepsi commericial was an idiotic commercial to create and promote. In the end of the commercial as one final touch, almost a "middle finger" to the Pepsi ad creators they had an actress playing Kendell say that she "Stops the police from shooting black people." then after says "I know! Isn't it so cute?" poking fun at Pepsi and Kendell Jenner herself.
The SNL commercial is a comedic way of pointing out the politcal incorrectness of the Pepsi ad. The "protrayal" of the cultures, the use of the white actress, the protest itself and the commercial itself. It was quick to point out all the wrong in a funny way, proving the wrong that Pepsi had done.
