The Raven And The Cask Of Amontillado

Poe's writing style is very gothic. He has an unique adn dark way of writing as presented in "The Raven","The Tell-Tale Hearts", and "The Cask of Amontillado". Poe's writing appeals to emotion and drama and aslo, his storys appeal to either death, lost love, or both and he has a brilliant style of language he uses in his writing to deliberate his meaning of text. His storys are very diffrent from any author becasue he has a diffrent style of writing than other author's really beacause he lost his love (his cousin) and he was loney alot and soem of this poems are based off of diffrent authors like Elizebeth Barret and her poem " Lady Geraldine's Courtship" which inspied poe to create his famous poem " The Raven" which is about a man who is hafe sleep, hafe reading and is thinking of hsi love
Also, it says how he was buried alive by some of massie's friends which could be the reason in The Cask of Amontillado which thus story is the inspiration to The Cask of Amontillado when he Montresor buried Fortunado deep down in the catacombs like the lutinatut was deep in the ground. The Cask of Amontilado is a very interesting story writin by Edgar Allan Poe it balanced life and death to a te and it expressed feelings toward the right and wrong thing like he was stuck in a postion and he wrote about it and he wanted to kill the guy but he didint and he deppens his mood to kill him slowly like he killed him from the outside and he experiences it with hbim since he drunk the drink with him and its like he's trapped with fortuando to down in the catacombs and he cant get out unless he is sober but unfortuantlly he starts building the walkl to bury fortanado the unfortuant one in the wall to show him how unwilingly his actions are towards
