Most people who say there needs to be more gun control don’t own or, probably never have touched a gun. They haven’t gone through or know the process it takes to be able to buy one. Most people hear about people going places and shooting schools, night clubs, etc. They see that because that what the media wants them to see. Guns were the leading cause of death by homicide (66.6% of all homicides) and by suicide (52.2% of all suicides).” If there were more gun control it could potentially lower suicide by gun rates drastically. This doesn’t mean it will demolish all suicide rates, this just means that suicide by gun rates will lower. Even though it will be harder to use guns, it doesn’t mean that people won’t find other ways to commit suicide. I feel like that having more gun control isn’t going to affect suicide rates drastically.
I feel very strongly against more gun control. I feel like there’s already enough gun control and in my opinion, it’s not the guns fault it’s the person that is using the gun.
