The Role Of The Industrial Revolution In The United States
The Industrial Revolution itself refers to affects from social, cultural and economic conditions. Throughout the years, changes have taken place in the home production to machine and factory and now modern technology. The Industrial Revolution (1820-1870) was of great importance to the economic development of the United States. In the late 18th century, Britain and Europe began the first Industrial Revolution. After sometime, the development centralized on the United States and Germany.
Inventions were crucial during the first industrial revolution. Inventions such as spinning and weaving were a function of water power which was ultimately replaced by steam. This form of production assisted in the increase of growth in America. The industrial revolution became a change for American society and economy into a modern urban-industrial state.

and the War of 1812 which the United States took on the greatest naval power in the world and endured many costly defeats. The Embargo Act ended when the British opened fire when they were not allowed to search an American ship. Four men were taken in custody and one was hung for abandonment. The consequence of this also was a great amount of public outrage. This eventually led to America and Great Britain entering the War of 1812. The war made it obvious that America required a better transportation system and more economic independence which became the cause of manufacturing
