This passage is in both the Hebrew’s holy book, the Torrah, and Christianity’s holy book, the Bible. In the Old Testament, followers of both religions read scriptures and preach them to other followers. Though they both contain the Old testament, only the Bible contains the New Testament due to Hebrews believing the founder of Christianity, Jesus Christ, to be only a prophet and not a Messiah (Son of God).
Lastly comes yet another similarity amongst the two religions, their teachings or goals of the religion. Though Hebrews do not pray to Jesus, they do find it necessary to worship God, obey His 10 commandments in the Old Testament and to form a strong and fine relationship with Him. These are vital goals that need to fulfilled as a way to thank God for giving life and to praise all His glory.
But with those goals, they also have two more teachings of the religion in common. In both Christianity and Judaism they teach their followers to be a peaceful worshipper and cause no harm to themselves or another, as well as making sure their followers are well-rounded humans that commit righteous deeds.
