His home life had become rather strained as it was only him and his wife since his kids were already moved out. Work had been keeping him bogged down while his wife sat home alone watching infomercials. They had a brief disagreement one night and decided that the way they were going wasn’t working out and something needed to change. On a whim he suggested that he take some time off and they go see a concert. Much to his wife’s surprise at the left field suggestion she agreed and the next week they went to see their first concert. As they walked in there was a distinct feeling of unease as it was a subject neither one had studied past their college education. Once they sat down and the music began to pour forth they were both taken aback, especially Rod, and were drawn to the mysterious sensation cast upon them. With that experience he decided from then on that he would become a sponsor of the symphony to keep it alive and prosperous to recreate the feeling of euphoria that he felt during that first performance. His…

He was happy to earn money through his own skill, although it was with utter bitterness that he had to endure rehearsals despite the outward disapproval of his aunt against his chosen field. She thought musicians are no better than dogs scurrying to get their mouths on food scraps in trash bins. But he didn’t mind, thinking that the money he’ll earn from playing the violin will allow him the capacity to buy a brooch and beautiful stationery for his ardent love letters to Aida.…

The gloomy night filled with full distress in the air as if the night grew suspense. When the moon opened up it was as if there was a creature lying beneath an oak tree ready for its dinner. In the still of night there at that moment there was a creepy mystic creature staring from above to its prey of the night. It seemed very pacient as it slowly moved one paw at a time in a pattern or sequence timely as if waiting for a moment to come. The creature had black fur and at the edge of it paws its claws very thin and sharp to catch its prey. Thus it had to have those aspects in its inner self to be considered the abstract of nature it really was. Indeed it was no lost puppy or cute pet animal, this creature was in fact a beast.…
