The Theme Of 'I Want To Live In A World Where Normal Is An Insult'
"I want to live in a world where normal is an insult." This quote is from Misha Collins, a popular TV actor from the CW series Supernatural. He plays an angel named Castiel who helps the main characters, Sam and Dean Winchester. The character is very curious about the way humans live and has become extremely attached to the show's theme of free will, and choosing your own path.

I chose this quote because when I hear someone say that they are normal or that they live a normal life, I feel bad for them. When someone is called weird for showing off their individuality or who they are they are mocked for it. Being weird or different shows that you have a passion for something no one else has and that should be celebrated. With that passion you …show more content…
If one was to live a normal life I feel like nothing would really happen in that life. The unexpected is what makes life wonderful and interesting. Also, the words normal and unexpected don't really fit together. Unexpected is the surprise of not knowing what's coming next. Normal is expected and knowing what to expect out of life would be really boring it me. The unexpected can be scary and sometimes the unexpected thing could be negative. Even if something negative happens you tend take a step back and further appreciate the life you have now. Where normal is just life skating by without surprises which isn't really living life to the fullest. Life is so short as it is what's the harm in making yourself appreciate it more as a whole. For some the road to a better life is harder but doing something unexpected to take the negative out would make you life even that much better. With the unexpected you learn more about life and how it works, and in turn make your life a little easier and even more enjoyable. As a society we should work towards a world where no one wants to be normal anymore because honestly, normal is just boring. In my opinion, boring is worse than being
