Dropouts rates show how toxic stress in childhood leads to inputs on learning, behavior and health in their future. Toxic stress impacts dropping out and low achievements. Toxic stress impacts misbehavior and the change in attitude (Rumberger). Students from low income families have a dropout rate of 10%. Students from middle income drop outs rate is 5.2%, high income families dropout rate is 1.6%. If a teen is failing two or more classes and figures out that they won't graduate on time. They will drop out to save face or the student is frustrated with the lack of progress. Being bored is another reason teen drop out of high school being bored all day can get frustrating and can make teens stop going to school. Teens who drop out is without social reaction and no adult support. Teens who get bored and that would start making kids disengaged in school. If a teen is ill or has missed a lot of school they might not graduate so they will drop out. even if they don't want to. If a death of a parent or to a sibling will cause a teen to drop out and have to get a job to pay off bills
