Three Things I M Thankful For
Thankful, thankful, thankful, that is the word that I will be saying a lot in this paper. I am going to tell you about three things I’m thankful for. Let’s get right into it.

The first thing I’m Thankful for is basketball. My first reason for this is that it’s entertaining. It is great because I get to play with all my friends. We all get to talk too. Another reason is that it’s an all year sport. In the summer we get to play three on three. I remember when we were down by three with 50 seconds left and i made 2 jumpshots to make us up by one and we ended up winning. The second thing I’m thankful for is football. I’m thankful for football because it brings me joy. It’s fun because you get to run. You also get to score touchdowns. Sometimes

“The Foundation and Manifesto of Futurism” written by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti highlights the main ideas behind the futurist movement that he introduced himself. In the beginning of the manifesto, Marinetti and his friends are awake at a late hour of the night and they hear the sound of automobiles pass by. Marinetti encourages everyone to test this new magnificent machine even though there was a sense of mystery and risk about it. Marinetti explains how they were so overcome by the madness and the amazement that they were incoherent to the dangers around them and only focused on breaking free. Marinetti describes how his car crashes into a ditch, but he brings it back to life and it is soon roaring again. He then presents his manifesto for all living men. He challenges the people of Italy to continue to strive for the future and to not look back on the past.…

In a small, rural town called Arlington in Vermont, playing sports was a normal thing to do. It was nothing special it was just a way to waste time. There were only three sports you could play, soccer, basketball, and baseball. No football, hockey, etc. For me though, I loved the smell of the fresh grass when I was on the soccer field and the basketball courts. I loved when my parents watched me from the sideline and I could hear them cheering me on. It was just the best feeling to have. As I grew up in Vermont I never really knew how a big town or city felt like being in. I was in a school with only 400 kids in the whole high school! There was no loud traffic or packed mall, it was just farms and the pond. You had to make your own fun out of things. That’s why I loved to play sports.…
