Three Things I Were Aligned With What I Value
Three things I did in the past few weeks that were aligned with what I value include:
A. Helping others with homework’s even when I am in a rush.
B. Have making the best decisions for the Department I work.
C. Have staying close to my family in economic crisis.
A. I was honest to let my little brother know that I was in a rush, but I was willing to help. I took the time to make the difference and help someone in need. The action I took goes back to my values. I didn’t let my knowledge got in the way to think I was better because there was one occasion I was in the same spot. I think that my family would be proud of the decision I took.
B. I have been honest to let the Department Head know what will and will not work, and the ways we could fix

In the beginning of the play Romeo appears to be somewhat pretentious. He speaks dramatically of his "love" for Rosaline which, in fact, is probably not love at all. He speaks in rhyming couplets which makes his words sound insincere and rehearsed. He over dramatises the situation while talking to Benvolio (his cousin) which suggests that he is seeking sympathy or attention - such actions make him seem immature in comparison to the rational thinking characters in the play such as Paris.…

Looking at the values index cards from Activity 3.1 again, I’ve discovered that my top three values are productivity, determination, and responsibility. I chose productivity as my first of the three because when I’m doing my things as efficiently as possible, I will be able to perform my best and create an outstanding result in the activity that I’m doing. Determination ranked second place because I believe that if I’m driven towards a goal, it will make me want to work on it and will force me to try as hard as I can when completing the goal. Responsibility is ranked third because I think that since I’m responsible for my own actions, I have to do the stuff that I need to do in order to finish the task and do well on the task. Also, knowing that there will be consequences with all my actions, I will try my best to avoid any troubles.…

The first is family – my family is everything to me. They support me and make my life worth living. The second is dependability – I know that people can depend on me and I expect the same of others. My third main value is honesty / integrity – without this there is nothing. We must do the right thing, even when people aren’t watching. Fourth is teamwork – doing things on our own is sometimes easier, but “together everyone achieves more!” Finally, effectiveness is important to me. Although focusing on success seems selfish, effectiveness can be in all you do- how you work on your relationship with your spouse, kids and family; how you treat others, how you worship your Lord, or how your treat your…

First thing that I would like to talk is willingness to serve others. I like to help others; I help my mom around the house all the times and because she don’t know much English I translate for her. And at school I help my friends those who need help; I help them with what I know. Next, I demonstrated leadership. At school when the teachers group she/he always choose me as a group leader because he/she think I will be a good leader, and to experience leadership. I help my group member when they don’t know, tell them what to do, make sure the work is done, to participate, and tell them to respect teacher like to keep quiet and follow teacher’s instruction.…

The values that I hold most deeply are friendships, family, and happiness. Values are things that are important in the way I live and work and I believe all of these things play a major role in my life. Since I was a little kid, my values have changed tremendously. Back then, my values would've been playtime, mac & cheese, and chicken nuggets. I believe values mature as you grow and mine definatly did. For example, when I was younger I remember being friends with everyone, but now I only have a select number of friends. This represents values to me. My values inform my actions by them always being my first thought while making a decision. They always play a role in my…

This can influence a career someone might pick. My five most important values are religious faith, uniqueness, creativity, community service, and expertise. Religious faith is important, I have grown in my faith and have learned to become more active in showing love. This value has also affected additional ideals. As a result, I have matured in community service. I have learned that as I grow in faith, I develop in my service to others as well. I trust and know that it is my place to help others and to show empathy to them and their situations. Another value I place worth on is uniqueness, I have cultured the idea that my individuality is what causes me to be me. Creativity is also a driving force within me. I am determined to have new ideas that reflect how I feel and think. Along with creativity I place importance on expertise in everything. I have vowed to myself that all my work will be to my best ability and knowledge. I refuse to put my name on assignments that have not been well thought out and planned. Every task I complete is work I am honored to have completed and proud of. At my heart, I value traditional ideas of serving others and being true to myself in all things, no matter the situation. If one is not true to themselves and their beliefs then they have not seen any happiness in…

In my day to day life I try and pride myself on who I am and who I am becoming. Just a few days ago I was telling myself that I need to actually stop volunteering so much because it means I have little time to do anything else. There have been many cases in which I demonstrated a personal drive, commitment to my community, and my own leadership philosophy. Talking to my dad about a month ago I was having a conversation with him for school where I asked him what my best qualities were and one that he told me is my work ethic. This made me think about it because it was not something that I would originally think for myself.…
