Rahul iis not only your co worker but also a good friend. When you see him working with so much diligence and dedication, you feel happy at having supported him when his father was against him learning to be a Machinist. Write a narrative piece on Rahul's journey of self realization and success and how your support helped him achieve his ambition. Answer
Rahul has been my friend since high school. We both enjoyed playing volleyball in school and got along well. As our 12th standard classes were coming to an end, we both were confused about our career choices. We both were fascinated by machines. We even built our own radio by looking up the instructions on the internet. Gradually it became clear that I was going to go for a vocational course which would help me become a machinist. My parents too were supportive of this choice.
However, Rahul's father was furious at him when he asked him about joining the course. He had other plans for Rahul. There were lots of arguments at his home about this issue. Throughout this time I was supportive of Rahul and his career choice. With the help of my parents and Rahul's mother, we were all able to convince his father to allow him to join the course. It was a struggle which was worthwhile as today Rahul is a successful machinist. He enjoys his work and is very content with his life. Everyone, including his father, is very proud of his work and the career choice that he has

The article titled “Working at McDonald’s” by Amitai Etzioni is in short describing how there is no individuality in working at a fast food restaurant. Kids have no initiative and cannot make many individual decisions for themselves. There is no real career training when it comes to working in a fast food restaurant. In saying this, Etzioni is correct. After all he the winner of the 2001 John P. McGovern award in Behavioral Sciences. He states that McDonald’s is bad for kids, not because of the food itself (which is still unhealthy) but because of the fact that they are working for them. Also, the hours children have to work are ridiculous.…

When I read the short story the prince about S. Leon Kleinman who every two months would call in sick at his job and go to museums and just have a his own little day off. I thought what the heck is this guy doing and how is he getting away with this but threw out the whole of this short story I thought he was very crafty and had a good thing going. Mr. Kleinman worked at an office type job and dreaded working there and thought that all the people were stupid and he hated them so he did it to have his little private time but this little scheme finally game to an end when his boss Mr. Graham found out that he was skipping and called him to his office to see what was the deal and so kleinman came in and they started talking and his boss was asking him questions and kleinman was admiring his painting and Mr. graham saw this and he saw that he had a creative side when he was making statements like to own a prince painting one must be a prince and then the boss Mr. graham offered him a promotion for having such an understanding and love for art. The ending of the story I have to admit I was not expecting that he would get a promotion out of all the things I thought he would maybe get fired and it was kind of ironic because he skipped work and it got him promoted and it spoke on the kind of person he was and all this proved that you can beat the system if you plan it right just like how you saw in this short story and he did all this to do what he loved which was art which…

When I finished reading the book “Escape from Camp 14” by Blaine Harden, I realized that there were so many serious problems we should have known about the circumstance of the North Korea. It was actually much more horrible than I expected. What I have seen through this book was not only Shin’s awful situation but also the tragic relationship between Shin and his parents because of hunger, education and dehumanization.…

People fear change. People fear persecution. In the play The Crucible fear is used ridiculously to persecute the innocent and save ones self. Salem, a puritan community, had god and religion as its number one priority. Therefore the devil was the people of Salem's greatest fear. In he United States during the cold war, people feared communism. Here came the creation of McCarthyism, this is almost identical to the events of Salem, people were accused in the United States of being communist sympathizers, usually without much evidence, and people were persecuted. Arthur miller himself was accused of being a communist supporter and charged after his writing of The Crucible. Even more recently terrorism is the world's greatest fear, and therefore people are persecuted, not in a court of law but in society. These people are discriminated against due to race or culture without any evidence that they are terrorists or murderers. This strongly links to the major themes in the play.…

Achievement isn’t an exceptional term; it’s possible with the ability, aptitude, motivation and commitment to a field with proper research & knowledge. I have successfully completed my B.Tech in Electronics & Communication from Kurukshetra University. After my graduation I started working as a lecturer of Electronics & Communication Engineering in Apex Institute of Management & Technology from 2010 to 2011. During my one year tenure I realized that this qualification is not sufficient for my career growth. So I decided to pursue my Maser degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering in 2011 and completed in 2013. While pursuing my master’s I got married in 2012, meanwhile, however this responsible beginning of my relation also did not stop me from achieving my goal.…

That made me think and dream of another path that I would want to take, which is not related to my previous dreams – to become an engineer. Aside from love of Mathematics, I came up with engineering because there are only few women who are brave enough to venture in this masculine course, and I want to be one of them. I chose BS Computer engineering as my field and as of now, I am enjoying every little thing that I am learning upon studying this course. Though at first, my parents are against it, I told them this is really what I want and promised them that I would do my best to be succeed in this field, my chosen field, of course with determination, and with the aid of Almighty…

I remember at the time when I started to go to school, my father used to tell me how bad the conditions were when he was studying. How he studied sitting below street lamps when there was no electricity in the house, how he was forced to do a job leaving his graduation incomplete when they had not enough money even to buy books. Still he continued working hard and completed his graduation successfully. When I see myself having everything I need or even more than that, I don’t think I have a reason not to pursue my studies. Today I am proud to say that I am a mechanical engineer working in Reliance industries Ltd. My father is my inspiration and he is the reason behind who I amtoday. From my school time only I was not much interested in civics, economics, social sciences or subjects in which all you have to do is memorize things which usually don’t have any logical connection between them. But I was very much interested in math and science. Subjects, which have some logical connection behind everything and we don’t need to forcefully memorize much of the data. Fortunately I was good in math and science like it was in my blood. I have more inclination towards my left-brain. I am a type of person who is not so good in arts, singing or dancing but have good logical reasoning and intelligence. In 2004 I got admission in engineering college. It was a bit difficultt in the first year to acclimate to the environment. It was not as easy as I had imagined. It took many sleepless nights, many compromises and what not to complete my engineering. But it wasthe passion, which helped me to go through all this. It was difficult but I enjoyed it. I usedto wonder how by changing the gears of the bicycle the efforts required to drive reduces. But while studying in engineering I came to know how the change in gear ratio reduces the torque required but with reduction in speed. It was nice to know all the things that I had always wondered about. It was my pleasure to study subjects like…
