Tolstoy's Journey Into The Wild

At the last 60 minutes of the movie, we see Chris still insisted on traveling into the wild, and in the way to Alaska, he met Ron Franz, an old man who lost his family in a car accident. Chris stayed with Ron for two months and he learned from him how to craft a leatherwork. However, even though Ron offered Chris to adopt him as a grandchild, Chris departed for his destination after postponed discussing that till he comes back from the Alaskan wilderness. Furthermore, Chris spent four months living in a bus in the Alaskan wilderness, and during that time, he ate all of his supplies and realized that nature can be harsh sometimes. At the time Chris decided to go back to his family, he found out that he couldn't cross the stream that he crossed before due to the melting snow. However, he started to eat plants, and by mistake, he ate a poison one. As a result, Chris suffered from starvation to death.
He was a nice person who spread happiness and inspiration around him. “Happiness only real when shared” (Chris 189), since Chris was alone for a long time, he seems to realized eventually that happiness only can be felt among other people. In my opinion, I believe that humans are a social being, which means that we need to share our moment of happiness with other people in order to feel the real
