Paul Walker, the late star of the "Fast and Furious" film franchise, has left his entire estate to his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow, according to new reports.
TheWrap.com states that Walker's entire estate, valued at $25 million, has been left to daughter Meadow, as outlined in the actor's last will and testament, filed on January 28 in Santa Barbara. Walker's father has been named executor of the estate, and his mother has been named Meadow's guardian. The "Fast and Furious" franchise "will continue to generate residuals to the estate," according to TheWrap.com report.
Walker died in a single-car accident in California last November. He was the passenger in a vehicle operated by his friend and business partner Roger Rodas, also killed in the accident. Walker was on break from shooting "The Fast and Furious 7" during his death, attending a charity event in the hours before the fatal accident. Universal halted production on the "Fast and Furious" sequel in light of Walker's death, postponing the film's release date and stopping down to reconceive the film in a way that would honor the late actor.
In January, a new "Fast and Furious" release date was revealed: April 10, 2015. Furthermore, it was reported that director James Wan, writer Chris Morgan and Universal's Jeffrey Kirschenbaum arrived at the decision to "retire" Walker's character, former police officer Brian O'Conner, through a combination of reshoots, new scenes and existing footage of Walker.
