Topic: the Expression 'Never, Never Give Up' Means to Keep Trying and Never
Topic: The expression 'Never, never give up' means to keep trying and never stop working for your goals. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

"Never, never give up" means to keep trying and never stop working for your goals. I think it's a very good piece of advice for all of us. Never stop working for your goals doesn't mean you must be successful; it doesn't even mean that you must achieve your goal, but it's very important to keep it in your mind. You want to be a great basketball player, but you are
1,60m tall; you want to be a great pianist, but what you have studied in the university was physics; you want to establish your own company, but you are just a clerk in a small company. These examples are very common in our real lives. There are enough unfavorable conditions which make our lives difficult, but what important for us is to make efforts towards your goal or your dream. If you have given your best for your goal or your dream, whether you succeed or not, at least you won't leave any regret in your life. What's more, who knows, what will happen in the next 10 years? You might not be a famous basketball player, but you could become a good player in the basketball-team of your school. You might not be a great pianist, but you play the piano very well and enjoy yourself after the heavy work every day. You might not be able to establish your own company yet, but you are just collecting experience and knowledge as a good manager, and maybe in 10 years, you will become the boss of your own company. Few of us have perfect lives, what I want to say is, don't give up working for your goal or your dream. If you succeed, you will taste great joy in your life. If you don't succeed, you won't have regret in your life because you have given your best. Besides, in trying to achieve your goals, you might find out that perhaps your goals

I think one of the themes in this book “Exposed” is Never Give Up. Don’t ever give up on anything you want to and never let it slip without fighting. In the book it says, " She's been avoiding me all week long.” page 45. Yes the girl was avoiding her, but she never stopped trying to talk to her, like in this quote she talks about it with her, " Im sorry, Liz, but I can’t be with you anymore.Every time i’m with you I see him.” pg 131 " I thought we were friends! Forever-Best-Friends!” pg 130 I think she was brave for trying to keep cool and try to fix it. She never gave up on the friendship she want to still have and have her inner life.Another theme I thought was in this book is trust, it talks a lot about how Liz doesn’t believe Kate yet…

In Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’,”On the Fear of Death,” she describes the different aspects of the dying process: options for the final days of the terminally ill person, the grieving process of the family, and how children are treated during this time. How grieving has changed due to the many advances in medicine that have been made is examined. The dissimilitude in “old-fashioned” death and “modern” final days are presented. She focuses on accentuating how stoically people are treated in a healthcare facility to drive her point home. She is a true advocate for Hospice but fails to mention several critical variables. I work in the healthcare field as well and I have taken care of my father in his final years, while I was a child. I have experienced both styles of the death process and one can be more appropriate than another depending on the circumstances. Sometimes one has to consider the circumstances surrounding the end of a life and a mechanical death may be necessary.…

Basketball is a sport that is dominated by incredible work ethics and the practice of basic techniques. Not ever has a player truly become a star overnight and success is granted to only those who strive for it. In the words of Michael Jordan himself I quote, “some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” Now I have only one question left to ask. Do you want to be the best player you can be? If your answer is yes then I urge to beyond belief that if you learn, live, and love these skills, I see no reason why you can’t be a great…

Since I was 7 years old, basketball has played an integral part of my life. I have devoted countless hours to not just a sport, but a passion, an outlet; to the game that I love. When I arrived at Bow Middle School as a fifth grader, my classmates and I would always look up to the 7th and 8th grade middle school basketball teams. Every year during winter carnival, the boys and girls teams would play a game in front of the entire school. Playing in that game became a dream and a goal of mine, but first I would need to make the team. For three years I developed my basketball skills, using my passion for the sport and desire to play in that game as motivation. When tryouts for basketball in 8th grade drew near, I knew I was ready. However a new coach would be at the helm this year. Our new basketball coach was also a coach for the youth football program. This resulted in numerous football…

For some people it takes forever to figure out that failure is not always a bad thing, while at the time it may seem like the end of the world. “We are all potentially capable of any human act.” (Roth 39). Even the most successful of people have failed at something at least once in their lives. Maybe consider though, that failure was what brought them back up to the best, hardest working person that they could be and it did not take long for them to retrieve what they had lost and made it ten times better!…
