Quality :- 1- Is fitness for use ( joseph Juran ) 2- Quality is a grade: - the grade is one of the following (performance,life,appearance,taste,odor,maintainability. 3- Degree of performance 4- Conformance to requirements of the customer ( Philip Crosby ) 5- Conformance to the standers
Total quality management: - is a management philosophy contain all activities in the organization that makes the organization achieve the expectation of the customer and organization and the society using efficient ways and optimum utilization of resources with motive of continual improvement
Advantages of using total quality management 1- Improvement of competitive position in the org and increase the profit . 2- Good relationship with suppliers 3- Increase satisfaction of the customer 4- Improvement of the quality of goods and services 5- Reducing cost , reducing waste , reducing defects 6- Opining new markets 7- Right first time 8- Fast response ( just in time ) 9- Improvement of capabilities through training and motivations 10- Motivation of all employees through participation and decision making
