Town Mouse Research Paper
The Country Mouse just got back from his “dangerous” vacation at the Town Mouse's house in the city. The Country Mouse was sitting in his old, simple, dusty, and dirty home and was just thinking about his recent trip. He was pondering about how the Town Mouse needs to come spend a couple more days with the Country Mouse to show him what pieceful living was like. The Country Mouse spotted a piece of two week old corn and went and picked it up and ate it. Then he thought to himself, would the Town Mouse ever be able to just run wherever, pick up whatever, and not have to worry about anything? The answer is no. Ah, what simple and loving life thought the Country Mouse. Two weeks later the Country Mouse sent a letter to the Town Mouse asking …show more content…

When the Town Mouse went outside of the house to get some fresh air just like he did all the time in town. Now when the Town Mouse went outside in town the only thing he had to worry about was people. The first thing the Town Mouse saw was this huge 20 pound tom cat. The Town Mouse has never been so frightened in his whole life so he took off running. The next thing he knew he was in a pasture with 200 head of 1,000 pound cattle. So then the Town Mouse tried running back to the the den. Except the only problem was that their was the tom cat guarding the house along with a pitbull. The Town Mouse has never been so scared in his whole life. So the Town Mouse decided that he was done with the “simple”, “easy”, country life and if he didn't leave, the town mouse was going to go nuts. He didn't even take time to pack up his things and head back to town. A week later the Town Mouse sent a letter to the Country Mouse explaining why he left. The letter stated “ Dear Country Mouse, Thank you for your hospitality but I cannot take the country life. My life here in town is so much better. I know your country life is so simple, and easy but you do not realize how nice it is to have luxuries. I’m sorry but I couldn’t take another day of the country life. Sometimes having luxuries and a fast and exciting life is better than have a simple, and boring

Chipmunks are part of the Rodent family, and considered to be agricultural and horticultural pests when they eat gardens and destroy plants and shrubbery. When Chipmunks are present in larger numbers (and their numbers are always larger than you think) they can cause significant structural damage by burrowing under patios, stairs, retention walls, garage aprons and foundations. In your garage, storage building or home they cause enormous problems and even put your family in severe danger by eating electrical insulation and building nests in your walls.…

This theme of power is also shown in the mouse, as the fact that Steinbeck shows the mouse already dead before it's found foreshadows Curley's wife being dead before she was found. The mouse symbolises the lack of hope and ambition felt by Curley's wife; her repetitive daily routine representing all the powerless women during the 1930's. It displays how women during that time had nothing to work towards or aim for, and as a result desperately sought attention and hence settling attentively for the ears of a stranger. The symbolised mouse also explains to the reader the theme of power and powerlessness, felt by most of the characters on the…

I chose the story/nursery rhyme 3 Blind Mice to provide my summary and analysis on. It goes as follows – “3 Blind Mice, 3 Blind Mice… See how they run, See how they run… They all ran after the farmer’s wife, Who cut off their tails with a carver’s knife, Have you ever seen such a thing in your life? As 3 Blind Mice”. To summarize the above nursery rhyme I was able to conclude there are 3 mice and each mouse is blind. I found that the mice run and chased the farmer’s wife. I also was able to conclude that the farmer’s wife cut off all 3 of the mice’s tails. That is all I was able to come up with as far as summarizing goes.…

Mouse notes that there's one small problem with his best friend Rabbit: "Whatever he does, wherever he goes, trouble follows." So when Rabbit accidentally tosses Mouse's new airplane into a tree, the long-eared fellow cooks up an idea for setting things right. With a look of resolution in his eyes, Rabbit gathers a number of animals -- including a confused elephant, stubborn rhinoceros, and surprised crocodile -- stacking them up one by one into a great tower. None of the participants look too pleased, though, and when Mouse tops the pile and stretches his paws out, the tower winds up collapsing with a thunderous crash. Fortunately, little Mouse is able to catch hold of the plane, and he courageously flies in to snatch his friend away from the other annoyed animals. It's a happy rescue for frightened Rabbit, but of course, when he's involved, trouble is always around the corner.…

One of my sister’s boys was gnawing at the Indian corn left lying on the concrete. It really has been quite a feast for weeks now. He was in the zone, nibbling and nibbling like only a teenage mouse can do. The car got closer and closer. We all started shouting to him to get into the hiding place. The human never stays in the garage long after getting out of the car, but this mouse was determined to keep eating until the last second. Finally, he came to his senses, and he tried darting across the path of the car. I know he planned to dive into his family hole with no time to spare. He didn’t make it. We all held our breath. His mother wailed. The woman had spotted him. She couldn’t help but see his sleek little body darting behind the stacked…
