Track Detachment Definition
Track Detachment
To represent the Track Detachment I have drawn a tank, the Track Detachment is responsible for maintaining all the tracked vehicles such as tanks. They work under the A’ Vehicle Section Commander and their main clients are the tank drivers from across the regiment.

B’ Vehicle Section Commander
Very much the same as the A’ Vehicle Section Commander, I have drawn a mega phone to represent the B’ Vehicle Section Commander. In the mega phone you will see and “B” just in order to dis firer between “B” and “A”. This is a section commanders position and they take the plans and orders from everyone above and ensure the detachments below complete the objective. Under the B’ Vehicle Section Commander there is the Heavy Equipment Detachment and Light Vehicle Detachment. The orders from the B’ Vehicle Section Commander are supposed to go directly down to their subordinate. However, this often is not the case as they cross command A’ section detachments this is why the mega phones is not directed

However, I did not draw it as a pyramid due to the fact it does not always work as it is supposed in a real work setting. Yes the top of the picture the Maintenance officer has the most power, in the squadron, but it would be wrong of me to think that one commissioned officer has more power than say Canadian voters. That's why on the rich picture even though the client is at the bottom as they are the ones we are being served the are the biggest due to the fact they have more power that the man at the top. Every single picture or sketch takes into account size wise based on either number of people in that position or the amount of power those people own. When we compare the SSM and say the LAV Detachment The SSM is a single person with lots of power. However the personnel who make up the LAV detachment have very little power individually there are many members of the

BMCS has been steadfast to enforcement of policies and standards. By holding himself and others accountable he has maintained a very successful working climate for his unit. His determination to prevent and or eliminate DUI’s has sometimes been unpopular with his crew. His unwavering standard has negatively affected some member’s careers and on one recent occasion has ended in a discharge. By setting a strong zero tolerance policy his plan has possibly resulted in saving the CG time, effort and money, not including reducing the overall risk. His plan ensures a non-reprisal approach will be taken if members use the phone and call for a ride, at anytime day or night. He has been highly engaged with the sexual assault and prevention program.…

From 2003 to 2004, I was assigned to the Third Marines Field Service Support Group (3d FSSG) Medical Battalion in Okinawa, Japan as the company commander for the Headquarter and Support (H&S) Company. Medical battalions are staffed by Navy medical personnel, which support Marines in war zones. The H&S company structure included a company commander, executive officer, division officers and enlisted staff. A lot of people are not familiar with the military terms so I like to use the analogy that a company commander (military officer) is comparable to the Chief Executive Officer of the organization, the executive officer (military officer) is comparable to Chief Operating Officer; the division officers (senior enlisted members) are comparable to department heads, and junior enlisted are the staff.…

As it is well known in any of the military branches, the chain of command is of high importance. The chain of command is built of out a single soldier. Those single soldiers are made into a squad. Two to four of those squads put together a platoon. From there, three to five platoons makes for a company. In a closer look, a soldier of an E-4 status or below is patrolled by squad leader which is in fact an NCO. An NCO stands for a non-commission officer which their job is to govern the soldiers. The squad leaders then report platoon sergeants which then will go and report to the senior NCO which is also known as the first sergeant. The first sergeant will oversee the company and guide it. This is known as the chain of command that soldiers must follow. Information is shared from highest rank to lowest rank and also from lowest rank to highest rank when needed.…
