Transition To Adulthood

Transitioning from childhood to adulthood is a process. Sometimes this stage in life is marked with certain symbols to show that the process is complete. Most of the time it is an accomplishment that you or your family been waiting for you to complete. For some people it may be something as little as winning a football championship and for others it could be graduating college. In my case junior year of high school would set the mark. Receiving my certified nursing assistant license was the most important thing to my family. This accomplishment marked my transition to adulthood because I then was able to go out and get a decent job making a nice income at the age of sixteen years old, becoming more responsible, as well as it was the first step that would better my experience for the career of my dreams. The start of junior year I knew I would be enrolled in the Certified Nursing Assistant program being that I signed up freshman year. Earning my CNA
The both of them encouraged me to study hard, practice and do whatever it takes to make sure I achieved my goal. Earning the license made me eligible to take on more responsibilities and see a different outlook on life . I gotten a job, began to pay for important things I needed, and sooner than later bought myself a car. After receiving my license I decided to work at the Masonic Home Charity Foundation. Working there I've matured a lot. I actually do like my job. I am responsible for the well being and activities of daily life for the elderly. Being that I’m still in high school I hear some harsh words about the work that I do, but it doesn't bother me. It takes patience and kindness to be able to work in the atmosphere. As people we get older and weaker; naturally we need help or we may not be able to function. Therefore I take what I do as a major important job that most people cannot
