With the big demand being for supplies in the upcoming war they would need a lot of supplies if the colonist were going to win the war against the British. If they would have to do without ammo the soldiers weapons would not function. Without clothes they would freeze or be exposed to the elements. Without transportation the supplies would not have made it to the colonist. This would have lead to a different outcome in the war.
Goods Brought lots of money in because of trade. Goods were needed for trade and for common items. Without goods many of the food, supplies and soldiers would not be available due to the cost for their needs. An example of this would be food, shelter,etc. Without food or shelter people and soldiers would not last long.
During the Revolutionary War transportation was a must have. Colonist and soliders depended on transportation to help get through the war. The people who transported goods, food, weapons and supplies put their lives on the line for their country.
