Proposed Capstone Project Title
“TSU Information Hub”

Project Context / Background of the Problem
Information Hub is used as a platform for collecting, storing, analyzing large-scale information and providing advanced communication services.
The current system being used to announce the information is “Paging System” and the researchers found out that broadcasting of message was vague and it is only in limited range.
The proponents realized that developing a “TSU Information Hub” will be much better and much reliable because all involved people at TSU that are registered to the system will receive all the messages and will be instantly inform.
The information hub covers special announcements, notice/memo, meetings and sending messages to students/faculty and non-teaching staff. After gathering the observed problems at Tarlac State University, the researchers proposed the “TSU Information Hub” to help to solve the said problems.

Objectives
The general objective of the study is to further develop the TSU Information Hub by using Android as its platform of development.
Specifically, the study seeks to attain the following objective.
1. To develop TSU Information Hub to easily send the following messages:
1.1.1. Notice/Memo
1.1.2. Special announcements
1.1.3. Meetings
1.1.4. Messages for Student, Faculty and Non-teaching staff
2. To have an organized transferring of messages.
2.1.1. By Colleges (Faculty/Students)
2.1.2. By Department (Offices)
2.1.3. By Year Level (Students)
3. To evaluate the prepared system through:
3.1.1. User’s evaluation and;
3.1.2. Expert’s evaluation
