The forms of communication were appropriate for the intended audiences and were kept professional. The individuals had all worked together before, so the communicator was able to know how the information was going to affect the individual receiving the message. Having worked together before allowed for the senders to put a personal touch in the communication; except to the CEO’s message, this should be professional all the way through.…

You have several different players; Jane Jackson, a division manager; the section managers; and the employees. All receivers were giving the exact same message, one reason why Mrs. Jackson read it instead of just speaking to the group. All of the parties form the human communication process within AMC, Inc. Ms Jackson had a message that she encoded for the employees to decode. Although Ms Jackson felt fairly confident that her message would be transferred favorable, there was still much confusion on the issue. This shows that although the same message was given, the meaning was different based on the receiver. People only hear what they understand and just because the same message was sent out, it doesn’t’ mean that everyone understand it to have the same meaning as the person sitting beside them. Other factors to consider are that Ms Jackson is very different than the people that she delivered the message to. It was then later given back up to the section managers from the employees, back to Mrs. Jackson. The result of this path is that somewhere within the communication process understanding was lost on some.…

This means that they should not have already formed decisions. The decisions formed should be from the opinions, ideas, and suggestion of all the participants. In this case, one of the mistakes the CEO did was to dictate on what the agenda should be discussed. This was supposed to come from the participants collective. It is important to note that although some of the concerns might be common, at the time the interest of the employees varies.…

I am still learning how to make decisions, it’s a trial and error system, but that is why this key ability is one of the many important principles we live by. When it comes to politics or it come to the gospel we all have choices to make that will point us in the direction we want to go. I was once taught “direction then velocity” when you’re throwing a ball you can’t just throw it out there and then pick the direction you want it to go, you must pick a direction and then throw it. Making decision is a big part of growing and learning, we need to be brave enough to take whatever lemon life throws at us and look at it for a minute a decide what will we do with this…
