Tybalt's Interactions In Romeo And Juliet

Shakespeare uses Tybalt’s interactions in Act 3 scene 1 to drive the plot by showing Tybalt’s angry temper. Tybalt ducks under Romeo’s arm and stabs Mercutio. As tybalt runs away with his men Mercutio yells, “ A plague O’ both your houses.” (3.1.90). Some of Mercutio’s last words is foreshadowing of what will happen to the Capulet’s and the Montague’s. By Mercutio saying that gives you a hint of what is going to happen later in the play. Because in the story the Montague’s lose Romeo and the Capulet’s lose Juliet. When Tybalt leaves the crime seen with his men he knows that something is going to happen. When Tybalt comes back to the scene him and Romeo quarrel and Romeo stabs Tybalt.
