What is type 2 diabetes?
Type 2 diabetes occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, this means that the person is therefore resistant to insulin or their body does not know how to react to it. The function of insulin for those who don’t know is to control blood glucose levels.
Symptoms of type 2 diabetes include:
Hunger
Thirst
Loss of eyesight
Extreme fatigue
Headaches
Urination frequently
Weight loss (even though you are feeling hungry and eating)

Causes of type 2 diabetes:
• Lack of exercise
• Overweight/ obesity
• Unhealthy eating
