During the report type analysis, one of my traits was introversion. At first I was in denial that I was an introvert. I did not want to be an introvert because of all the misconceptions made about the trait. However, during the workshop the instructor explained that introversion and extroversion are words that describe how we process information. Since I am an introvert I analyze thoughts said by others and then take a moment to internalize before contributing to the conversation. Introversion and extroversion both describe how someone obtains energy. Introverts restore energy by being left alone to reflect on thoughts. Sensing is how you take in energy. If you are sensing information is processed through the fives senses. In general people who are sensing are observant of their surroundings and realize the practicalities of a situation. Thinking personality traits examine the logical outcomes of a choice or action. Finally judging personalities like order and are more likely to have pre-planned events. Soldiers have guardian temperaments. While I agree I show certain traits of this, there are other traits that I find do not apply to me. For example how we find a sense of community and enjoy working groups. This statement for me is mostly untrue; I would say ninety-nine percent of the time I prefer to work by myself. I find when I work alone more can be accomplished at my own pace and I can avoid all the group drama. However, if I am forced to work in groups I am cordial enough to work with my peers to complete the required assignment. While soldiers are considered introverts I feel as if I am a mixture between an extrovert and an introvert. Sometimes I really like hanging out with my friends and other times I enjoy being by myself it just really depends on where we go, what we do, and who is attending the function. For solider personalities, limiting distractions is curtailed. Usually when I do my homework I have background music playing, but my phone is lying in the bed. During homework I have schedule breaks and during those breaks I use my phone; however, my phone is becoming a big distraction for me. For example I will set the break for a fifteen minutes, and the timer will go off, but I will ignore it and continue to play on my
